WHAT IS POULTRY SCIENCE?
Poultry science is the study of all types of birds for food and features, including chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks. Poultry scientists work to improve poultry production and food safety. This discipline involves biological, chemistry related principles besides subjects like animal nutrition and food science.
WHAT DO THEY DO?
As a beginner one's work includes caring for poultry, operating machinery & equipment, maintaining a hygienic environment, handling & identifying chickens, controlling pests, etc.
Passing 10 +2 with biology as a subject is the academic eligibility criteria for the diploma and Bachelor degree.
For pursuing a master's degree, the bachelor degree in the field or equivalent is the eligibility.
