The architect is the grand designer who creates the form or body of the building. A building usually begins with an idea or a concept in an architect's mind. CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING:

They are the math and science ways that produces the structural designs setting the bolts and joints to form the body of the buildings . A civil engineer needs to decide how to build a solid frame and determine the location and size of every beam and column in the building. He also has to make an official use of materials to construct the building in an environmentally sustainable manner. They are responsible for creating practical and cynical structures that can withstand anything that the weather might bring, the wind, sun, the rain and the temperature changes.


MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:

While the civil and structural engineer is a structure specialist , a mechanical and electrical engineer is the expert responsible for connecting the veins injecting the life force that brings the building into bail. Every modern building needs electricity, lights, air conditioning and ventilation systems to become a living, breathing and usable place. They take care of it by making sure official use of energy and water.


QUANTITY SURVEYOR:

For every project there must be someone to take care of the money issues. The quantity surveyor is the one that manages the cost of a building project from the initial calculations to the final figures. They must be skilled in the balancing act analyzing the numbers and assessing the risks and preparing the tenders in contract. Consolidating all the information in numbers to come up with the tender specifications and contracts always while ensuring that every building meets the required standard and quality.


PROJECT MANAGER:

As the actual construction starts someone has to ensure the smooth running of the project. A project manager’s work revolves around three very important elements time, quality and cost. They become the key person once the construction work begins organizing the resources to turn plans for a new building into reality. That means planning the time frame for all the necessary tasks, like getting the project started from the initial stage of drafting to the final stage. They also ensure that the project gets completed on time and with the given budget.


FACILITY MANAGER:

Every building needs proper maintenance. A facility manager is like a doctor; they perform regular health checks on the building to ensure they are well maintained and in tip top condition. A facility manager looks after the needs and interests of the building and its occupants and comes up ideas of building amenities and services.

A few occupations have licensing requirements. Crane operators, electricians, plumbers are required to have a license in most states. Other occupations do not have strict licensing requirements but often have voluntary certifications.
